Resignation of Maryanne Frisken

Maryanne's contribution to NHI has been immense and only the Lord knows how much effort, thought, love and care she has contributed over the seven years of service. It is evident to all the Directors that God has used her in an amazing way in the commencement and the development of NHI. Maryanne maintained a close and very personal relationship with a large number of people around the world. They will all miss her personal contact and will pray for her recovery from the lung cancer that has so deeply affected her health.
The Board of NHI It is most appreciative of the fact that Maryanne served as the treasurer of the Company in the formative years and, despite having no training in accounting, she set up and kept the books in a highly efficient and effective way. Her work as an editor of material and the New Hope News, and her contribution, as a writer and lecturer, has been most significant. The Directors also have appreciated her hospitality in her home at Board meetings and her warm friendship and prayers over the last seven years. Since NHI was first formed in 2001, Maryanne played a pivotal role as Executive Secretary in the development of NHI. Without her assistance her husband Rev Bob Frisken, president of NHI could never have carried out his role. From a human perspective, without her involvement, New Hope International would not have started and flourished in the way that it has. Over the years Maryanne's warm encouragement and friendship has endeared her to hundreds if not thousands of people around the world and you have been greatly loved by all involved in NHI and your contribution will be greatly missed. The Board of NHI will join the thousands of people around the world who are praying for her recovery from this very serious illness and trusts that it will have the pleasure of conveying, in person and at an appropriate date, its deep appreciation for her labour of love given to the Lord Jesus through New Hope International Limited.
