All of a sudden, when her son was just one and half month old, her husband became mentally unbalanced and left the home and didn't return. All she had was a two room house. One room she gave for rent and she is living in another room. She gets Rs.900/- per month, which was her sole income. Now and then her brothers helped her financially. After joining DGM Tailoring Training Centre, she learned tailoring and also was provided with a sewing machine on subsidy. Now sitting at her home, she is earning Rs.2,500/- per month and with her rent amount she is getting a total amount of Rs.3,400/-. Her daughter is studying 5th class and son 3rd class.
