Hope For Orphans Cambodia seeks sponsors for its children
Rev Im Chrorn
Cambodia --
Cambodia is still recovering from more than two decades of war. It experienced the worst holocaust in modern history under the cruel Khmer Rouge regime. Families were decimated and scattered. Only in the past few years has a stable political system emerged. Due to the devastation of war, the aftermath affected the people's lives. There is still extreme chronic conflict between local political parties can cause poverties, violence in the families. Illiteracy can cause people become jobless, immoralities in society, children/women trafficking, transmitted disease of HIV/AIDS are increasing. Many Children are left either orphaned or abandoned. It is estimated that thousands of children in the villages of Cambodia are homeless, without proper food or lodging. In the midst of such misery, Hope for Orphans will raise these innocent children to become good citizens. As we reach out to these destitute children, we will be supporting them, not just in prayer but in action to change their lives so that through your giving, they too will enjoy abundant life.
