News Sarah with Boy from Uganda PROJECT OFFICER VISITING SOLOMON ISLANDS Maryanne Frisken Executive Secretary New Hope International Travelling to the Solomon Islands was not as daunting a proposition as Sarah's first Missions trip - which was to Uganda, where she taught for her first year of teaching after graduation in a school near Kampala, Uganda. At least in this trip she has a team to travel with and a little time to get accustomed to the climate and culture before she commences working on the real reason for her trip - having discussions with the Education Secretaries of the SSEC and United Churches in the Solomon Islands. Children in school at Kilusakwalo Visiting Kilusakwalo Sarah's first visit to a school in the Solomon Islands will be at Kilusakwalo Community Christian School where she will be working with the ministry team of CCHS. The team is a music ministry team, and the teachers and students will be working with the Kilusakwalo teachers and students in helping them in music reading, in tuition in musical instruments and in sharing the giftis in music of the students and teachers from both schools.
