David Ferguson, newly appointed Business Director for NHI
Commissioning of David Ferguson

Rev Bob Frisken AM

On Sunday 28th January 2007 David Ferguson and his wife Debra were commissioned by the Alstonville Baptist Church and for service with New Hope International Limited. David will serve for three days a week as the Business Director for NHI. At his induction David told of the call on his life over many years for missionary service and more recently the events that led he and Debra to agree to leave a secure and well paid position where David has served for the last seven years as the Business manager of Summerland Christian School to take the role with NHI where they would have to depend in faith on the Lord for their support. . In the Service Bob Frisken, the President of NHI explained what David's role would be.

As Business Director, David will work along with the President, the Education Director and the other staff in the development of, support for and the promotion of New Hope International among schools, churches and businesses in Australia and New Zealand and where applicable in other developed countries of the world. He will also be responsible to manage the accounts and the budget for New Hope International and to ensure that the Company meets its legal obligations. David will also be responsible to make sure that all monies received through New Hope International for assisting the needy in developing countries is properly accounted for and spent.

David will have a key role in the growth and development of New Hope International Limited and will serve the Board as the Company Secretary.
The position calls for David and Debra to raise their own support and they have prayerfully accepted this challenge. New Hope International will support them and pray for them in this task and will provide the finances to cover all expenses they need to undertake this ministry. The schools and many other people that are part of the New Hope International network will also provide prayer backing for them in their ministry.
